Mobile professionals may reserve travel time, equipment and availability specifically for a guest. ExploreIsla's standard cancellation model helps protect that commitment.
Guest receives a full refund of the refundable booking amount.
The retained amount is handled according to the applicable Provider payout and commission rules.
The booking may be treated as completed for payout and commission purposes.
A legitimate guest no-show may be treated as a completed booking.
Reliability matters
Confirmed bookings should be honoured.
Guests may be on Curaçao for only a few days. A last-minute Provider cancellation can significantly affect their trip and confidence in the marketplace.
Avoidable or repeated Provider cancellations may affect visibility or account status and may result in consequences under the Provider Terms. Genuine safety concerns and circumstances outside reasonable control are treated differently.

Safety always comes first. Providers should not operate an Experience where doing so would create an unreasonable safety risk.
Fair partnership
Guests we bring should stay on-platform for that booking.
ExploreIsla invests in marketing, content, technology and customer acquisition to bring new guests to local Providers. Providers must not intentionally move an ExploreIsla-generated booking off-platform in order to avoid commission.
This does not mean ExploreIsla takes ownership of your existing independent customers.

Common questions
Do I pay to join ExploreIsla?
Under the standard launch model, there is no joining fee and no monthly subscription fee simply to be listed.
What commission does ExploreIsla charge?
The standard launch commission is 25% on applicable bookings generated through ExploreIsla, unless another rate is agreed in your individual Commercial Terms.
Can I keep my own customers?
Yes. ExploreIsla does not claim commission merely because someone independently has an existing relationship with your business.
When do I get paid?
Eligible payouts become payable after the Experience is completed or the booking is otherwise treated as completed under the Provider Terms. The applicable payout schedule is communicated separately.
What happens if a guest cancels?
The standard ExploreIsla model is: more than 48 hours = 100% refund, 24–48 hours = 50% refund, and less than 24 hours or a no-show = non-refundable, unless different terms were clearly approved and displayed.
Do I need insurance or licences?
You are responsible for maintaining any licences, qualifications, permits and insurance appropriate or legally required for your activities.
